Robert "Bob" Newbie, Sr., is a character from The Sims series best known as the father of Bob Newbie.
Biography
Life leading up to The Sims 3
Robert Newbie moved to Riverview with his beloved wife, Mags, and their son, Bob. He is an an avid fisherman, which is why he moved to the sleepy banks of the Simomon River. He is concerned that his son is spending far too much time indoors reading and wishes that Bob would clean up his messes and join him fishing.

He was married to Mags Newbie, as we see on his family tree. Together he and Mags had a son, Bob Newbie, who is intoduced in the tutorial of The Sims.
