He has made some shady deals, but his crowning achievement has been the construction of the Crater Base and Secret Lab. Ted's wife, Meredith, has been noticing Ted acting very strange at night. It might have something to do with his frequent visits to the Secret Lab to try and cover things up. | |

The Roswell family is a pre-made family residing in StrangerVille, the world introduced in The Sims 4: StrangerVille. It consists of Ted Roswell and his wife Meredith Roswell. They live in the StrangerVille Overlook lot and start off with 20,000 Simoleons.
The Roswell's are described to be the oldest residents in StrangerVille, with Ted Roswell being the supposed mayor of the town. He has recently been pushing StrangerVille to be more technologically advanced, having to make various shady deals and constructing the Crater Base and The Secret Lab, which Ted sees as his crowning achievement. However, Meredith is becoming more suspicious of Ted, as she has noticed him acting quite strange at night. The reason for such peculiar behaviour may have something to do with his frequent visits to the Secret Lab, and it can be seen that Ted is actually infected.
Ted and Meredith have opposing traits (good and evil) with each other, which may result in them having a tense relationship. In the basement of their house resides an office with a file box and stack of papers, which can both be searched for evidence if the player chooses to pursue StrangerVille's mysterious story.
Onomatology
Roswell: From the given name meaning "horse spring". The name is most likely a reference to the real-life 'Roswell UFO incident' which occurred in mid-1947 in the city of Roswell, New Mexico. This sparked a major interest in conspiracy theories, UFO debates, and military cover-ups.
Ted: Short form of Theodore meaning "gift of god".
Meredith: Welsh name meaning "great lord, sea lord".
