It germinates from piles of trash that have been left on the ground for a long enough time, and it will produce an odor that gives the [[uncomfortable]] emotion to nearby [[Sim]]s (unless they have the Slob trait). When harvested, they will produce a trash fruit. Trash plants, like any other plants, have to be taken care of, or else they will wither away and die. The trash plant is completely safe to eat.
