Strangetown is a premade neighborhood in the Sims 2. And is similar to real life Roswell, or any other small desert community. It was filled with mysteries, aliens stories, disapperaing Sims, mad scientists and possibly a serial murderer.
It is incorporated into the Pleasantview plot, as a resident NPC is Bella Goth. Like all pre-made neighbourhoods, the NPCs, that is towniesand downtownies are unique.

- Beaker: Loki and his wife, Circe, Loki's test subject Nervous Subject.
- Curious: The Curious brothers, Pascal, Vidcund and Lazlo.
- Grunt: General Buzz and his sons, Tank, Ripp and Buck.
- Loner: Ajay living alone.
- Singles: Lola Curious, Erin Beaker, Kristen Loste and Chloe Curious.
- Smith: Pollination Tech #9, Jenny, Johnny Smith, and Jill
