He moved to Lucky Palms to investigate the drained lake in the desert area of the town, as well as criminal activities and the people who live nearby. It suggests that the large crater used to be a lake. Taj brought his family along to help aid his undercover. Zahra is supportive to his duty, but Sahan dislikes the idea and wishes to live in a town instead of desert. This causes them to dislike each other.
