The Sims 3: Random Babies??

I created my own Sim, but got bored, so i created another to be his partner, but when I went to his home, theres a baby on floor, so checked that household and the baby was part of the family! I even saw the Goth Family got an adopted baby

Vandalism

Someone vandalized the Player Tips section and replaced it all with "All of you who are doing this , you just have nothing else to do. Get a life. Get off your computer or cell. Or Wii." Exact clones of parents

It seems that in sims 3 babies often grow up to be exact clones of one of their parents. However CAS seems to have lower chances of that happening. 220.255.4.29 09:39, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not an expert of in-game genetics (or real-life genetics), but the way I understand it is that if a Sim only has one parent in their family tree, they technically are clones of their one parent - there was no second Sim to provide genetics, so the game took it all from the one parent. As for Sims with both parents, it's definitely expected for a child to look at least somewhat like their parents, and I have seen examples of where child Sims are extremely similar to one of their parents, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they looked like a clone. Thats why i went and test it out using 4 different families (all pre-made), and 2 of the families have their son grow up (using the cake) to be exactly like their father, with the only difference being the clothes,hair style(hair color as well) and muscles. However the rest of the kids are more like what you mentioned, with some resemblence to both parents. Seems to be pretty random i guess. 220.255.4.27 16:11, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

In my one family, both the kids looked almost exactly like the father, but if you looked close, they had some of the mother's features. The daughter, Lisa, had the father's hair and eyes, with the mother's nose, face shape, and skintone. The son, Jacob, looked so much like the father I couldn't tell them apart, same hairstyle and everything, but he had his mother's nose and eye shape. Then Lisa grew up and got married, and her daughter had grey eyes like her grandmother (Lisa's mother). So, I think some kids just look more like one parent than the other. P.S. Claire Ursine's baby, in my game, always looks more like her but has some subtle Frio genetics (such as green eyes). I think it's the same way in most people's games.

Sims 2 for Xbox

Can you have children? Or atleast babies.I noticed that their isn't any baby stuff , but then I thought of the sims and sims bustin out and there was no baby stuff in that game either.I've read alot of websites saying to just woohoo and make out but I've tried and I'm not really going to continue if its fake?So can I have babies or children on the sims 2 for xbox?

Retriving lost babies in TS3

NOTE: It will not work if your baby has been taken by the social worker, and I only did this once.

If your baby is not in your house and your sims aren't taking it out, and the baby is lost, but still in your relationship panel under "Household," you can retrive it. Merge with another family and put the baby in that household. Then, put the baby back into your family's household! I didn't actually put my baby into my family's household though, I kept her where she was, and she was fine. This MIGHT not work for you. If it works for enough people, please can an admin put this into an article related to babies, losing a child for any reason, or anything else that sounds related to this?

I'm sorry if it doesn't work for you, but it worked for me. And this is the sims 3, and I don't know whether you can do the same with the sims and the sims 2. Try it out on all of the games. XXxCrazyThingXxX (talk) 16:50, February 6, 2013 (UTC)

Baby Genetics

I read somewhere that Babies don't have any facial genetics except for eyes and eyebrow colour but in my game, the daughter of Pascal Curious had twins and even when they were Babies, One of the twins had huge eyes just like her but the rest of the face was exactly like every other baby. The baby's twin had the same size eyes as every other baby. I was wondering if I was wrong about the circumstances and Babies always have different size and shape eyes or if this is a rarer case? I don't believe if babies don't have genetics. The way I interpret it, the baby's eyes and eyebrow colors, as well as skin tone, are the only visible genetics that can be viewed easily. That doesn't mean babies don't have genetics. Babies are small, and you may hardly notice the facial structure of the baby's face and head.
