NEWSFLASH: BOYD WAINWRIGHT WAS NEVER GREYING!!! WHY DOES EVERYBODY THINKS I'M GREYING - BOYD WAINWRIGHT

HIS HAIR IS NOT GREYING!!!! If his hair was suppose to be greying, then he would have the preset platinum-blond or even Blair's version of blond, but with the highlights and maybe maybe tips, being either white or grey. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 14:23, October 31, 2014 (UTC)

Hair color

I have protected the article for three days due to unnecessary edit warring regarding this Sim's hair color. Rather than going back and forth on the article, the matter should be discussed here, on the talk page. Kaiko Mikkusu believes that Boyd Wainwright's hair is not greying (as the article previously stated it was), whereas others have expressed the belief that it is. Please discuss in a mature and calm manner. -- LostInRiverview talkblogcontribs 15:00, October 31, 2014 (UTC)

Okay this section of talkpage talk if you think his hair should be greying or not, and why, cuz i think it's platinum-white even through it looks like it might be greying, greying hair would be like, Vita's, Nick's, Thornton's, and Gobias', if Boyd was greying he'd be the preset platinum blond or Blair's blond, but with some ACTUAL white or grey in the highlights and maybe tips. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 15:02, October 31, 2014 (UTC)
To be clear the primary reason why I reverted is that this is not a valid text to put in the template parameter; instead of being a specific color it read more like someone way furious at how the information disagreed with him and listed a bunch of users in it. The edit summaries after that, "He will feed you to a cowplant", is completely irrelevant and doesn't help in the situation one bit. This edit is quite evidently unconstructive and I don't blame anyone that decides to rollback such an edit. Kaiko Mikkusu has made over 300 edits and should know better than to behave in such a manner inside the main article space, instead of discussing on the talk page like we are doing now.
My other comment is that, if we decide that grey is not Wainwright's hair color, we'll need to think of another value (currently Kaiko Mikkusu says it is Platinum-White), and then categorize this page in one of these categories. "My hair color is Platinum-White and if anyone else changes this value i will feed them to a cowplant" is not a hair color. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 15:38, October 31, 2014 (UTC)
First, Wainwright is his surname, Boyd is his first name, and he's not the only sim with Wainwright as a surname either. B\c he has a wife and daughter and might have other children, plus other unrelated sims spawning with the same surname. And yeah, maybe i exaggerated a bit. Sometimes it can seem like i have a slight Inappropriate trait. (Actually it's just Asperger's.) And yeah, "My hair color is Platinum-White and if anyone else changes this value i will feed them to a cowplant" is not an haircolor, more of a quote about an haircolor. And well, i'd say: If Geoffrey Landgraab can be categorized as blond, and the LL-based sims whose platinum-blond hair has bluish highlights\tips in them, can also be categorized as blond, let's categorize "Platinum-White" as blond, until other sims with said haircolor start appearing and it can be considered its own category. (And the word "Boyd" also means blond in scottish. Blair means field and Wainwright means wagon-builder in the same variant of scottish. That family apparently names their children after scottish surnames or something.) It's too light to be considered any variant of brunette, and if you changed the "greenish-blue" basetone to a reddish or orangish color it might count as redhead, but even that can be a stretch. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 15:57, October 31, 2014 (UTC)
Also i made a search for "Platinum-white hair" and i guess that could be his haircolor. https://www.google.it/search?q=platinum-white&rlz=1C1AVNC_enIT597IT597&espv=2&biw=1366&bih=667&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=oMdTVKzvI8_hapOGgsgG&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ#tbm=isch&q=platinum-white+hair&facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=fGYCrSy-HD1PSM%253A%3B5xRv0XFlzC40jM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.trekflashair.com%252Fwp-content%252Fuploads%252F2014%252F09%252Fwhite-blonde-hair-mlmatbt.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.trekflashair.com%252F34-natural-blonde-hair-style-2014.html%252Fplatinum-blonde-hair-natural-white-blonde-hair-on-pinterest-ezxcczln-long-hairstyle-ideas%3B1000%3B1506 Ofcourse these are (usually) dyed, or sometimes from partial albinism. (Sims cannot be albino... right?) while Boyd's eyebrows are the same color as his hair, making it natural. And TS3 won't be the first videogame where a supporting character has hair that looks like that. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 17:51, October 31, 2014 (UTC)

(edit conflict)Oh, well, now that I know you have Aspergers I can see why you got a bit over-excited there.
I don't necessarily think that we should categorize Wainwright (or Boyd, if you prefer to call them by their first name) in the blond/blonde-hair Sims category, because blond, by definition, always has some sort of yellowish color, and Boyd Wainwright doesn't have yellow in his hair. Are there any more Sims with whitish hair color? We could probably create a new category, providing there are enough Sims to populate it. --I am k6ka Talk to me!
