:: For single articles, neither is greater or worse than the other. For the listing one, I envision galleries not working properly, as they're used once per article in a Heading 2 format. It was a genuine question of mine at start whether or not slideshow can be used, which then turn out to be a discussion with a person I was arguing with he. He implied that it would take a lot of space of the article for article, which I'm not really convince over his point as it barely noticeably takes a few centimeters, not an inch. I think better question why be oppose it, as I don't think readers will care much how they will view the pictures: either slideshow or gallery, they'll be clicking and navigation through arrow system anyways. Regardless, some way to showcase pictures of interiors I think is a must have for lots: these aren't game mechanics, qualities/biography of a Sim, or game description. These are architectual builts that need better visual representation. DrakonoSkerdikas (talk) 14:52, March 23, 2019 (UTC)

:::You keep mentioning off-wiki discussions but never provide links to them nor mention the participants. Anyways, it is not clear that you understand what I am saying: I am asking you why you think we should use slideshows instead of galleries and you keep responding to me as if I were opposed to including images of the interior of lots (which I am not). I am opposed to the idea of using slideshows because slideshows are a terrible way to display images IMO because they're clunky to use, and if these interior shots are few in number for each house (I can't imagine why we would need hundreds of images of the same house when a few top-down shots of each house will do just fine) then a simple gallery works best.

::: I can't imagine where you might have picked up on such nonsense. Galleries don't have the "arrow system" that you mentioned. In case you are unaware, this is what a gallery looks like:

People who disagree with you are not against you. Now please answer my question as to why we should not use galleries and instead why we should use slideshows, as you have not provided any explanation for that. I've explained to you why I believe slideshows should not be used and normal galleries should be used instead. —<span style="color:#0040FF">k6ka</span> <span title="Canadian!" style="color:red">🍁</span> (<span style="color:#0080FF">Talk</span> · <span style="color:#0B4C5F">Contributions</span>) 15:06, March 23, 2019 (UTC)

Slideshows over basic lot template

I had a talk with someone who was opposed replacing these templates with a slideshow previews. My stance is that they would be a lot helpful for readers and intuitive than galleries for showcasing the content of lot from inside as well. This would be really useful, since such information is really lacking in this department and I think would be much better than creating additional articles devoting for individual premade house for elaborating on details with more images. My opponent said that using slideshows narrows the text greatly and severely, although I don't think it would do much harm from a quality standpoint as I reviewed this article by visualizing If changes were made. Idk, but what do guys think? For or against the changes? If so or so, explain why ? DrakonoSkerdikas (talk) 21:23, March 21, 2019 (UTC)

I would like to see you explain why you think slideshows are better than galleries first. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 21:41, March 21, 2019 (UTC)
For single articles, neither is greater or worse than the other. For the listing one, I envision galleries not working properly, as they're used once per article in a Heading 2 format. It was a genuine question of mine at start whether or not slideshow can be used, which then turn out to be a discussion with a person I was arguing with he.
