Sims4 Next Gen[edit source]

I Am Just Curious As To When The Sims4 Will Be Available For The Next Gen Consoles. Specifically The Ps4 (Very Impatient Player) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.42.55.89 (talkcontribs) 04:59, June 2, 2015‎ (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Two things:
  1. This is the incorrect talk page to discuss things like The Sims 4. This talk page is for The Sims Creator article, and for discussing improvements to said article, not other things.
  2. Discussion like this should go to the game discussions forum.

Glasses?[edit source]

Does anybody know how you get glasses in TS Creator? As far as my memory goes, I don't recall seeing any options for Glasses when I used the program. Also, I assume you can, but I ask anyway, can you change the skin color of the meshes? Just cosmetically, I'm not talking about mods or adding a whole new skintone. Actually, there's no way to use glasses in TSC, which I guess because glasses and other accessories are not an actual part of the head, and TSC only recognizes heads and skins, not accsesories such as glasses. And I don't know much about meshes, but I guess you can by simply selecting the head/skin of choice and coloring them in the 'Paint' button, and for heads if you click the 'Face Photo Wizard' or something you can create a new head from photos, or just simply click 'Paint' and customize the head. I guess? Hope I helped! Imasexysimlover (talk) 16:29, September 21, 2015 (UTC)

You can't. Glasses and other accessories are either painted on as part of the head or body skin or attached to a mesh by way of the CMX file. I don't recall if anyone made glasses that attached to a mesh. Meshes themselves don't use skin tones, but you can change the skin color on a body or head texture. I remember that some creators did this to make "pale" skins, but I doubt that TSC is the best tool for it unless you want to use the "Face Photo Wizard" -- which I never could figure out. If you use something else to do it, remember that skin textures in TS1 have to be 8-bit (256 color) BMP files. Dharden (talk) 20:37, September 21, 2015 (UTC)
