Tutorial Neighborhood[edit source]

Since this is a neighborhood, shouldn't it be with the list of neighborhoods in The Sims 2? Or is it technically not a neighborhood? Joey.eyeball (talk) 01:01, November 2, 2013 (UTC)

You're right. It is technically a neighborhood, but since it's accessed and functions differently than any other neighborhoods, I'm not sure how to put it up with the others. Nikel Talk Vote! 06:37, November 3, 2013 (UTC)
The page says that it has its own unique NPCs. Don't you think that it should have all the NPCs listed on the page as well. I'm willing to go and look them up on my game. Joey.eyeball (talk) 06:52, November 3, 2013 (UTC)
I'm not so sure about that. I can't even look at their Sim Descriptions with SimPE. Besides, we can never get to see them while playing the tutorial, so I don't see the necessity for that. Nikel Talk Vote! 13:02, November 6, 2013 (UTC)
You can spawn them with Tombstone of L&D. Mate1234 (Chatterbox...' You don't have to read this..) 13:24, November 6, 2013 (UTC)
I would have mentioned Inge's Teleporter Cat for better convenience earlier. But still, we can't meet them in normal ways, and they don't seem to have any use when teleported, since this neighborhood isn't for normal gameplay. Nikel Talk Vote! 14:08, November 6, 2013 (UTC)
I still think this page requires a cleanup. Also, is the neighborhood the same for each tutorial? Joey.eyeball (talk) 18:49, November 6, 2013 (UTC)
Yes, the "Tutorial" neighborhood is one neighborhood. All tutorials take place in different lots in the same neighborhood.
Also, if you delete the "Tutorial" neighborhood from your Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods folder (not the C:\Program Files folder!), it will regenerate, whereas if you delete the other neighborhoods, they will not regenerate on their own (You either have to delete the whole Neighborhoods folder, or go into the C:\Program Files\EA Games\<EP Name>\TSData\Res\UserData\Neighborhoods folder, copy (not cut) those files and ferry them over to the Documents folder). I bring this up in order to prove that it's a unique neighborhood, unlike the other neighborhoods. I just researched the neighborhood NPCs and they are...
Jerry Lawson = Police Officer
Maura Simpson = Mail Woman
Glen Kalson = Bartender
Robert Miguel = Headmaster
Kennedy Mazza = Grocery Delivery Man
Andrew Todd = Firefighter
Amar Rusewicz = Exterminator
Tosha Go = Firefighter
Ericka Jayapalen = Gardener
Komei Carlson = Maid
Manuel Leong = Repairman
Lucy Hanby = Paper Girl
Jessie Trimble = Townie
Sullivan Cox = Pizza Delivery Man
Donte LeTourneau = Townie
The rest were just other NPCs like Mrs CrumpleBottom and the Grim Reaper. This information should really be on the page. Joey.eyeball (talk) 03:22, November 7, 2013 (UTC)
NPCs like Mrs CrumpleBottom and Grim Reaper are not neighborhood specific, meaning that they are the same in all neighborhoods. Their character files are located in the objects.package file in the C:\Program Files\EA Games folders.
Also, the names appear to be Pleasantview's names with a few quirks, like Lucy Hanby, while being a maid in Pleasantview, is a paper girl in the Tutorial neighborhood. Maura Simpson is a firefighter in PV, but a mail woman in Tut. How amusing. K6ka (talk | contrib) | NG Userpage | The Last Stand Wiki | The Sims Wiki | YouTube 17:48, November 7, 2013 (UTC)
So does anyone think we should write down the Sims on the page? Even though its not a real neighborhood, it should still be treated like one. Joey.eyeball (talk) 22:19, November 15, 2013 (UTC)
I still believe this information should be included. Joey.eyeball (talk) 08:26, December 22, 2013 (UTC)

Access[edit source]

Is there any way to access the Tutorial neighborhood, or to trigger the before mentioned glitch to gain access? I'd like to gather some information about the hood. Øôppdëckš 20:35, December 18, 2015 (UTC)

I was wondering the exact same! I don't know if it does work. But you could try the glitch that triggers. Or via SimPE. As I've played with some NPCs too while messing around with tutorial. Sims Player (talk) (mistakes) 20:50, December 18, 2015 (UTC)
