Changing voice

It says that with SimPE, you can change the adult voice for your Sim. Exactly how do you do that? C.Syde65 (talk) 04:32, December 27, 2013 (UTC)

When viewing a Sim in Sim browser, you will probably recognize the parts with Overview, Career, Relations etc. Click on Other and you will see the Misc section. On that list there is something labelled Voice Type. There you can change it to the voice you want, although I don't know the codes for the voices. Joey.eyeball (talk) 06:13, December 27, 2013 (UTC)

It appears that there are either many different codes, or the codes are completely random. I just copy the code from one Sim and paste it over the code box of the other. C.Syde65 (talk) 03:36, January 3, 2014 (UTC)

They aren't random. There are some predetermined instances, and you can only use them, not input random instances. So if you want Daniel Pleasant to have the voice of Don Lothario, copy the voice type instance in Don's and paste it to Daniel's. Nikel Talk Vote! 03:57, January 3, 2014 (UTC)
Here are the codes:

Nina Caliente (female, higher-pitched, "older"): 0x885B
Kaylynn Langerak (female, younger, lower-pitched): 0x73D8
Daniel Pleasant (male, lower-pitched, deeper, "older"): 0x6F9D
Don Lothario (male, younger, slightly higher pitched): 0x7F28

That's what I was trying to say! But your explanation is definetely clearer than mine! So the codes aren't random you say? C.Syde65 (talk) 04:22, January 3, 2014 (UTC)

Kaylynn's voice sounds older than Nina's to me. C.Syde65 (talk) 04:38, January 3, 2014 (UTC)

And what about the code 0x0000? Does that only work for object NPCs? C.Syde65 (talk) 04:37, January 3, 2014 (UTC)
