I think this one added the most content into the game. Not only pets but also the function to visit community lots. It even extended the neighborhood and added harvestable plants, cafés and other shops. It also introduced the Burb family and the parents of Mortimer Goth. - KaruKaterchen(talk/ fanon) 20:05, June 18, 2016 (UTC)
One of my favourite expansions for the original game, and I think it's definitely the most charming rendition of pets in the series, if not the most varied in terms of graphics and game-play. Plus, as has been pointed out above, it added so much more than just dogs and cats to the game. Beatrice Monty (talk) 12:23, June 21, 2016 (UTC)
I agree with above, it added pets for the first time in the franchise, but it added much more. It introuduced gardening, and added those new families and neighborhood extensions too. As well as other features. For me, it was a turning point in The Sims history, and hence the title, it unleashed many player options and was much more than cats and dogs, so I'll go with it over the other games. And who can forget those new careers? Culinary and Education for the first time, as well as my personal favorites Circus, Animal Care and Fashion which sadly didn't return. So Unleashed for the win. It's SO brilliant, I love the pets in the game. They look cute in the graphical capabilities of TS2! Love it! --CreationBeTheWorld23 20:34, June 19, 2016 (UTC)
Unlike The Sims 2: Pets, you can actually control the pets in this game. Also I haven't played Unleashed...yet. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 21:27, June 18, 2016 (UTC)
I think the Sims 3 Pets was the best. Controlling the pets, a new beautiful world, horses, etc. Also if you had Late Night and Ambitions, you got new Pets themed versions. UltraGamingKid (talk) 00:31, June 19, 2016 (UTC)
It has more (controllable) pets in the game, and you can do more with it. (I'm aware that you can control pets in TS2: Pets, but here you have more to do and you don't need to cheat with the pet). SimsPlayer (talk) (mistakes) 06:09, June 19, 2016 (UTC)
Just so people are aware, you can actually control pets in all three games, to some extent at least. In Unleashed, the "Go Here" command was available for pets, which could at least achieve something. In The Sims 2, the boolProp controlPets true and boolProp petactioncancel true cheats gave the player virtually unlimited control over pets. —k6ka🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 21:16, June 19, 2016 (UTC)
