The request for administratorship for Joey.eyeball.

Nomination

I, Auror Andrachome, would like to nominate Joey.eyeball (talk · contribs · editcount · block · modify rights · logs · block log) for administratorship.

Joseph's first RfA was declined mainly due to the "Not Yet" clause. Well that request was roughly five months ago and I feel that Joey is ready to receive the rights. Joey is online regularly, doing wiki-gnome work throughout the wiki. He has constantly participated in community discussions and is fairly well-rounded in his contributions. Thank you very much for the nomination, and I do accept. I will understand if others still do not think I'm ready to become an administrator yet but I won't ever abuse this privilege. Hope everyone agrees. Joey.eyeball (talk) 07:04, August 2, 2014 (UTC)

Support: I had a number of concerns and criticisms the last time Joseph was up for administratorship. I think I may have judged too harshly the first time around (it's a trait I have that I'm trying to combat). But that aside, Joey has improved as an editor and a member of the community since that time, and I feel he is more than ready and capable of stepping into this role. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 08:01, August 2, 2014 (UTC)

Joseph, you are a very good editor and you never act in bad faith, but I feel that you still have a few more things to learn first.

Should your RfA be declined, I think you should consider making more complex edits such as creating more templates, providing invaluable / valuable information to stubs, as well as creating Sim articles that have not been created already (if any).

I'm not trying to criticize and I don't tend to judge people based on what they haven't proven. But I still think you should take what I've suggested above, then I will be more than happy to support you next time round. While I am not necessarily opposing this nomination, I'll be honest that I'm not supporting it.

(I must confess that I was a little too quick to support your previous RfA).

Overall I am neutral to this nomination. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 08:18, August 2, 2014 (UTC)
