Hi everyone! I'd really like to apply for the position of Ombudsman. I'm very much a pacifist, and I can't stand violence. I know the wiki is undergoing a lot of change, and change is not always agreed with. This may lead to disputes, and having an Ombudsman available might be helpful. I think I am qualified for this position, as I'm preety sure that I maintain a pretty good working relationship with many users here, and if my request is granted, I'll do everything in my power to keep the peace.
I constantly am on the wiki, looking all over and through the Recent Wiki Activity for signs of profanity and abuse. If I'm not ready, I'd completely understand. But if so, I'd appreciate it very much. PGR7(parler - entendre) 03:28, December 23, 2012 (UTC)

Dev, you're allowed to vote. Voting isn't limited to bureaucrats only and the minimum requirements to be able to vote state you only need 1 edit to do so and while I find that to be too light of a requirement imo, you're definitely well past it. :)
As far as the request is concerned, I'm going to abstain from voting purely because I made a thread proposed to retire Special positions, which could cause a potential conflict of interest if I gave a support/neutral/oppose vote at all. LostLabyrinth • (c) • (b) 18:48, January 14, 2013 (UTC)

I would like to apply to take on the role of Community Director. It is indeed unfortunate that Bleeh resigned from her role as Community Director and I think it's important that someone with experience takes over the role.
I'm frequently in the IRC channel, I get on well with most users here, I bring up suggestions to improve the wiki and I feel that I can efficiently take on this position. I won't be offended by any opposition and I'll appreciate any constructive feedback.
