Rumours about expansion packs for The Sims 3.

Title Status/Cover
The Sims 3: In the Country False
The Sims 3: In the Country was an "April Fools' Joke" about an expansion pack set to be released in November 2009 reported on a German gaming site about farm life.[1]. Although it was a joke, it seems to have been based off of Riverview, the downloadable farm town.
The Sims 3: Ambitions Confirmed
The Sims 3: Ambitions (The Sims 3: Hobbies and Professions), is tentatively set to be released on June 4th 2010. It is a remake of The Sims 2: FreeTime. EA Games confirmed The Sims 3 Ambitions on March 4, 2010.[2]

The Sims 3: Spellbound Fake
The Sims 3: Spellbound is a rumoured expansion pack for The Sims 3.[3] It looks like it takes elements from The Sims: Makin' Magic and The Sims 2: Apartment Life, the final expansion packs for The Sims and The Sims 2. On the front cover it shows a witch, a fairy, a superhero, a pirate, a fire-breathing dragon (which in The Sims series has never been a Life state) and a mermaid. It was said to be the next expansion after Ambitions by South Africa, The Netherlands, Brazil, and Portugal.

It was confirmed fake on February 17, 2010. “Dan d” confessed to photoshopping the cover and then blurring it.[4]

The Sims 3: Celebrity Life Most likely fake
The Sims 3: Celebrity Life is a rumored expansion pack for The Sims 3. It looks like it takes elements from The Sims: Superstar and The Sims 2: Nightlife which revolved around dating, and living the life of a rich and famous movie star [TS:S]. It is said to be a possible expansion pack in the making after Ambitions, but not confirmed yet. It's most likely fake, but it really depends on where the information is from.
