In The Sims 2, when special, weird, tragic, or happy occasions occur in a Sim's life, they often gain a memory so they won't forget what happened. These memories can be seen in a Sims memory panel. Sims also get memories about Sims close to them. Below is an incomplete list of memories that can be obtained:
