20 December 2015

Greetings, this is AldoHyde writing the 65th edition of The Sim's Pen, The Sims Wiki's weekly fanon newspaper.

Fanon news

Fanon awaiting peer review

Attention members of the Fanon Peer Review Team! As always, there are a number of fanons waiting to be reviewed at The Sims Wiki:Fanon Peer Review Team/Fanon for review. Any time you can spare to help clear the backlog and help our writers to improve would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Old favorites returned

Regular fanon readers may have noticed that several of our past featured fanons have made a comeback recently! PVCS vs STM football, Plumb(b)ob PD and The Genesis Project have all recently released new installments, among many other excellent fanons. Catch up or start reading if you fancy a break from editing.

Shameless Self-Promotion

This day, 20th December 2015, happens to be the 5th Anniversary of the Veronaville Disaster, the YouTube video that kickstarted my bizarre universe of StrangeTown Monty (STM).

Have something you want to share? We're happy to add it here — just leave it in the comments!

Must-reads!

Want your fanon to appear on this list? Please nominate it! We are always looking for excellent fan fictions to feature here!

Writer's Pick - Veronaville Troubles by AsherÉire

Strangetown native Tank Grunt is not a soldier, but a detective on a case in Veronaville. Could a serial killer be on the loose? Does this murder mystery have any roots in the Veronaville Feud? Does the crime have anything to do with the star-crossed relationship between Romeo Monty and Juliette Capp?

Weekly Celebrity - Thomas Rainer by WikiBuilder1147, K6ka and OpelSpeedster

If you think the Grunt teens are too young to be trained as soldiers, you haven't met Private Rainer from the Revolution. Thomas is still in the child life stage, but has already been trained in the military. How exactly is a child trained for battle? Will his tender age make him vulnerable, or are "they" only after the information that he is privy to...?
