Big Boss[edit source]

I can see that you managed to get Big Boss back to The Sims 2. How did you do that? Mate1234 (Chatterbox...) 20:41, October 10, 2013 (UTC)

Well, I went into SimPE and extracted his phone call object and made it buyable. Once its placed on a lot, a phone will ring. I then pick up the phone and it says the message thats on BIg Boss's page. It then generates an NPC and supposedly he arrives at 5 PM. He never does, and I'm trying to find out why. Frogz2007 (talk) 01:23, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

I just downloaded your Big Boss file. Can you tell me where should I put the files in order to get him in-game? Mate1234 (Chatterbox...' You don't have to read this..) 14:35, October 27, 2013 (UTC)

I forgot to include a certain file that lets him call. Email me and I'll give you instructions on how to have him call you.

Mate1234, I'm afraid you've just destroyed your game by downloading Frog's file. Please read this thread at MTS2 regarding the issue.

Frog, this is a WARNING for you. Please STOP encouraging people to add universal NPCs to their household, as they destroy the installation files, requiring a full reinstall. You've already been in a lot of trouble at MTS2 for doing so. If you disagree, please reply to this message instead of declaring an edit war on me. Thank you. K6ka (talk | contrib) | NG Userpage | The Last Stand Wiki | The Sims Wiki | YouTube | Wikipedia 14:28, November 27, 2013 (UTC)

Let me just say that this wiki isn't a substitute site that will allow you to share your mod freely because you weren't allowed to do so at MTS. Please refrain from sharing any malicious mods that you cannot handle on your own either.
And I can't tell you how many times you've been told not to encourage other people to risk breaking their games. Nikel Talk Vote! 15:03, November 27, 2013 (UTC)
Frog, please stop adding more information about the Big Boss scenario. It's already been proven that the mod will corrupt the objects.package file. You are ignoring the messages that the MTS community, plus Nikel, an admin here, have given you about the mods. Your thread at MTS was locked for a very good reason, yet you continue to try and publicize your mod, which will completely fry someone else's game.
I am not J.M. Pescado and will not berate you repeatedly about how "you should be poked with sticks". However, we are firm about how you should stop it with the Big Boss scenario fiasco. Thank you. K6ka (talk | contrib) | NG Userpage | The Last Stand Wiki | The Sims Wiki | YouTube | Wikipedia 20:38, November 27, 2013 (UTC)
How the hell is downloading files relating to his data going to corrupt the game? I made them downloadable because maybe somebody can get him working correctly. And he works now thanks to Chris Hatch. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Frogz2007 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~
I'll keep redirecting you back to this thread. A quote from you:
GUYS, GUYS! I FIGURED THIS OUT ALMOST! I transferred all of his availabe data onto my other Sim and it generated his NPC! It says he resides in the objects.package now I'M SO HAPPY!

— Frogz2007

objects.package? As stated by so many people, it is 100% untouchable. Even a downloadable mod could corrupt that file when you least expect it. The community at MTS even asked you to check your objects.package file, and "it was last modified a few days ago." Frog, if I were in your position and found that the file was modified recently, I would have a panic attack.

Also, there are a fairly small number of custom NPCs out there, but they're all brand new NPCs. Your creation, on the other hand, is something that EAxis initially built on, then rejected the idea and ditched it, apparently leaving his files behind. Even if you try to complete his character and scenario files, it doesn't mean it's safe. I really do admire your determination to get this thing working, but as I've said, it's too dangerous for public use and you should probably keep it to yourself. And by the way...

Ok, fine. I will update, but will not release the mod if I get him working.

— Frogz2007

I know you found a loophole there, but still, I'm assuming that you gave your work to this "Chris Hatch" and he got it completed. Who is this Chris Hatch, may I ask? And anyways, we already warned you enough that this is dangerous. The very least I can ask you to do is to take down all the download links to this file, and keep this mod for yourself. And BTW, if your game goes a'splodie, don't say we didn't warn you. K6ka (talk | contrib) | NG Userpage | The Last Stand Wiki | The Sims Wiki | YouTube | Wikipedia 02:32, November 28, 2013 (UTC)

How the hell is downloading files relating to his data going to corrupt the game?

From this, I can tell you that you're completely clueless about what you're doing, and even ignoring the facts you've been told by people who know more.
And it seems that you've learned nothing about game corruption at all. Nikel Talk Vote! 04:52, November 28, 2013 (UTC)
Well, ok. I agree with you that the objects.package file isn't supposed to be modified, and my initial plan WAS to make a custom NPC from his files, but oh well. And Chris Hatch is a very famous modder who made a hospital birth mod that was from the beta, and he completed the Boss Scenario so it works (Is glitchy!) along with the engagement and grandchild scenarios that were maybe 10% complete at first. And trust me. I've corrupted the game countless times trying to get the boss working right, but I made backup images of the disks so I don't need to pull them out all the time.Frogz2007 (talk) 06:09, November 28, 2013 (UTC)
If you corrupt the game files making a mod, that mod should never be reachable by the public. What's the "Hospital Birth Mod" by the way? I have my concerns on that. K6ka (talk | contrib) | NG Userpage | The Last Stand Wiki | The Sims Wiki | YouTube | Wikipedia 12:51, November 28, 2013 (UTC)
Well, EA made a hospital birth as a plan ,but never finished the code to get it working. So Chris Hatch, a professional modder, got it functioning. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Frogz2007 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~
Sound familiar? I frankly doubt a professional modder would make such a risky and dangerous mod. In any case, you should definitely label your mods as "Extremely dangerous and may corrupt the game" instead of saying "It's done! Download and e-mail me if you have problems!" Well, I'd like to e-mail you. Why my game suddenly started glitching up. Because your mod modified my game files so they were corrupt. And anyways, my other big issue is how you use The Sims Wiki as an alternative site to get your mod out to the world. I'm not sure how many times you were warned over at MTS2, and you chose to ignore them, and instead used the wiki as a smartass way to get around that barrier. Did you know it is against the rules in many websites to do this? They could ban you instantly without question once they find out.
Also, don't forget this edit to ideal plantsim...

Oddly, if added to a family, nothing bad happens to the game.

There may not be immediate affects, but by doing so you've created changes in ideal plantsim's character file, which is located in the (DUN DUN DUN!!!) objects.package file. Doing so will corrupt all future neighborhoods, and it will also completely %$#@ up any plantsims in your existing and future hoods because they get their genetics from ideal plantsim. This essentially proves that you are still ignorant of the facts that these NPCs are extremely dangerous to touch inappropriately (literally). K6ka (talk | contrib) | NG Userpage | The Last Stand Wiki | The Sims Wiki | YouTube | Wikipedia 20:38, November 28, 2013 (UTC)
Ok, I'm sorry that I corrupted your game, but I just don't believe it. All I did was clone the scenario tester WITH a seperate GUID, may I add, and modified it slightly to fit my tastes. And you should stop being an ***hole, as I simply quoted a tidbit of information from the Cutting Room Floor, a site dedicated to removed game content. But yet again, I'm very sorry I corrupted your game. I guess I'll stop trying to make people happy, as some people hate me....Frogz2007 (talk) 22:44, November 28, 2013 (UTC)
I didn't actually download your mod, I was just trying to make a point. Still, keep that mod off the internets. K6ka (talk | contrib) | NG Userpage | The Last Stand Wiki | The Sims Wiki | YouTube | Wikipedia 03:41, November 29, 2013 (UTC)

Frogz, aside from the warning regarding your harmful experiment, I'm also warning you about your language. You clearly didn't see the point of our warnings. What you're doing can and will break one's game if he/she uses your mod. We keep telling you to just keep away from messing the objects.package and your projects any further. You see, nobody hates you. We're just giving you a stern warning since you seem to be still completely unaware of our points we make here. It was your persistence that made us stern toward you. Nikel Talk Vote! 09:16, November 29, 2013 (UTC)

Also, you're more than welcome to do what you want in your game. But please, do not encourage anyone to risk corrupting their game or share your findings because we can already tell what it'll end up with. Nikel Talk Vote! 09:19, November 29, 2013 (UTC)
sorry for the language, I was just mad.Frogz2007 (talk) 10:58, November 29, 2013 (UTC)

RE: Why do we hate each other?[edit source]

For starters, I never really hated you. Heck, when you entered chat yesterday I didn't even blink. I still remember the time when you apologized to me, and I still remember that. What really started the flames again was when you called me an "Enemy" and went on to rant about me. There's no need to restart a conversation that really doesn't need to be resurrected. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 11:54, May 13, 2014 (UTC)
