Welcome!
Welcome to The Sims Wiki Kyle03! Thanks for your contributions to the Grim Reaper page! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and help us improve the wiki!
Recent changes is a great first stop, because you can see what pages other people have been editing, and where you can help.
Questions? You can ask at the Help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, leave a message with an administrator or post a message on my talk page!
Need help? The Community Portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit. You may also try asking for help on the IRC channel, where some users may be able to help you!
Want someone to guide you along the way? Check out our user adoption program which is designed to help out new and possibly inexperienced users like yourself.
Spotted some vandalism? We have a team of administrators who will happily deal with vandalism when they see it. If you have found some vandalism from a user who hasn't been sanctioned, you can help by reporting it!
Please sign in every time you edit, so that we can recognize you!
Want to get noticed in the community? Well, we have tons of opportunities for you! The Forums are a great place for The Sims and The Sims Wiki related questions and games! Not your style? How about a chatroom with your fellow contributors? Have some fun on the IRC channel or on-wiki chat feature! We are also the host to a variety of community created contests. Want to suggest a change for the wiki? Feel free to ask on the community discussions forum! So, what are you waiting for? Get out there and have fun!
I'm really happy to have you here, and I look forward to contributing with you! K6ka (talk) 11:23, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

Adding inappropriate categories[edit source]

Hello. I've noticed that you have recently added some incorrect or erroneous categories. In the future, please double-check the page and ensure that the category(-ies) you are adding are correct and relevant to the page. Do also note that some of our templates automatically add categories to a page. If you see the category is already on the page, you do not need to add it again. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 19:50, August 25, 2015 (UTC)

Greetings[edit source]

Hello!

I noticed that you've made a few edits to The Sims Wiki in the last couple days, so I wanted to take some time to stop by, introduce myself, and say hello. I am LostInRiverview (aka "LiR") and I am an administrator on The Sims Wiki (aka "TSW"). In addition to this, I am the wiki's Community Director; it's a fancy way of saying that it's my job to improve the TSW community. Since you've started editing here, that means you're a member of the community! So, welcome!

The community is the backbone of the wiki, and the community helps develop and improve our content. Without a strong community, the wiki cannot continue to improve. Therefore, as you are a community member, I want to make sure that your needs and wants are met. I also want to make sure you're familiar with the basics of how things work here, just in case you should come across any burning questions or issues while you edit here. For starters, you can always contact me directly if you have anything you'd like to talk about. If you have something that you need an administrator's help with, we have an admin noticeboard that you can post to as well. If you want general community input, try starting a thread on the Community Discussions forum.

Getting back to you though, I do want to encourage you again to contact me if there is anything at all that I can do to make your time here more enjoyable.

Thank you for reading, and welcome to TSW! -- LiR talkblogcontribs 04:53, December 10, 2015 (UTC)
