Please explain to me why you reverted my edit on the Sims 3 patch table

Hi. Yesterday I added some details to the patch table of The Sims 3. You reverted everything. Why? The informations I added were ALL CORRECT. 79.147.78.139 (talk) 16:03, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

No, all info you add is WRONG! for example latest patch for world adventures is 2.17.2 and that patch belong to patch 22 not patch 31. Also there is NO patch 28, you can check it on the sims 3 update page. Please do not add wrong info to the article because you can be blocked by administrator. Wiryawan310 16:31, March 10, 2012 (UTC)
My current game version is 1.31.118. All those numbers were taken by hoovering the mouse over the icons of the various expansions displayed at the bottom left of the game launcher. How's that wrong??? When it says "patch", that just means the game version, it doesn't matter if there is an actual patch for it released by itself or if the patch was only included with the installation of a new expansion. That table is just meant to list all the various game versions. Up to patch 22 everything is filled up on the table, I was attempting at filling the empty fields. Do you know that since patch 22 ea not creating a new patch for all expansion pack anymore? after patch 22, ea only made 1 superpatch and that is for the sims 3 only so all game version displayed at the bottom left of the game launcher is the old version of the patch or the version when the game released (for generations and after or if you not patching your game at all). The table purpose is for recoding patch/game updates released by ea and newly released game expansion/stuff pack version.
I appreciate your effort to fill the empty field but the correct information on the table is the empty one and if you fill the empty one with the old game version the table will become wrong. Wiryawan310 20:32, March 10, 2012 (UTC)
Okay then, I understand. But if only the base game's version is relevant after patch 22, why do we still have it written what's the version for the last expansion released? You are saying what it is, not why it is relevant. If an expansion's version number is relevant when it is released, then why is it not relevant after? You say that after patch 22 only the base game version is important, yet we include the expansion's version number when it gets released. Then why not keep track of all expansion's versions like in the beginning of the table?

Regarding reverted edit on ghost page

Okay, BUT a ghost pet is a ghost, why can't it still be on the ghost page? Every ghost on that page has its own page but those are still on the ghost page. A ghost pet is a ghost, and a ghost baby (from ghost potion) is still a ghost. They have their own page, but so does every other ghost on that page. I don't see why they aren't worthy of being on the ghost page when they are unique ghosts. Clubers 16:53, March 11, 2012 (UTC) clubers

About a block you made...

Wir, I have reverted this anonymous user's block because all they did was blank one page. A 3 day block was severely jumping the gun and a warning (which I've already given to the user) is much more suited, especially as it was just one edit. In future when taking action against a user, please consider whether or not it is really worth blocking someone without a warning, especially if it was only one edit. Can you please look about halfway down the page of my Fanon:Rebecca Carter and you could probably see a fanon cleanup. I decided to add all the things from the fanon i wanted deleted, so it would be neater. I copied and pasted (from my own work). Is this cleanup nesessary, just wanted to know. !SCHNETZKA! Hint on multiple reverts

Hey, I noticed that you had undone two edits in a row to Genie. I wanted to be sure that you knew of a shortcut in bringing a page back to a previous version. All you have to do is open the page history, open up the version of the page you want to use, edit that version of the page, then save the edit. You don't even have to make any changes to the version if you don't want to. It saves over any other edits to the page, including vandalism, and makes it so you don't have to use the undo tool. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 00:41, March 26, 2012 (UTC)

Blocking without warning users

Wiryawan, before blocking a user please ensure they have been warned first, especially if it was only one or two edits. I have replaced two blocks you issued with warnings as I felt that the blocks were a little too harsh. Chances are if they're warned for their edits first, they'll most likely acknowledge it and move on. Also, block lengths are in most cases meant to start at 1 day and then escalate if they disrupt the wiki further, though there are cases in which a longer block would be acceptable if their disruptive edits are widespread enough.

I know you hate vandals with a passion; I'm sure every other administrator does too but you should at least give them a chance to redeem themselves before they're blocked.

tl;dr? If the user has only made a couple (or less) of disruptive edits, warn them before blocking them. Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 17:38, March 31, 2012 (UTC)

The era can wait. I need the rounded icon for the "stuff" pack. Also, we need the image of the game too, so I can't update the under construction template. My other computer broke and I lost all important bookmarks, so it'll take a while for me to find some templates that need updating. Anyway, if by "help with under development template" means "adding respective image to the template", well... the template is sort of broken. Why did you revert my edit on the lifetime want page?

I wanted to put in some important information about things like toddlers and children with lifetime wants being a sign of neighborhood corruption, and how to prevent it. How should I have placed that warning?

I revert it because the glitch information is not relevant with the article. the article is provide information about lifetime want and not for technical problem such as glitch. You can still add information about that glitch and how to solve it with a blog, if you look at my page, I write some blog about glitch like example omniplant glitch. and you can link the warning into article at notes like this. btw you must register to create a blog. What I don't get is how people are able to get all the clothing and hair and make-up that is not in the sims3 game.. I would love to create my own sims so that I could upload them to my own sims game.. I just don't know how. I was told to register to this wiki site and I would be able to create them.. I have no idea how. lol

Still, it depends on the reader's religious views. I'm follower of no religion myself, so I simply considered that to be spamming and vandalism.
