Vera Loste is one of the pre-made, yet unplayable Sims featured in The Sims 2 as ancestors of playable, pre-created Sims. Though deceased when the game begins, she can be seen in the family tree of the playable Sim Kristen Loste, who is her granddaughter.

Vera resided, during her lifetime, in Strangetown, one of the neighborhoods that ships with the game. She was the wife of the deceased Goshem Loste, the mother of Arty Loste, and the grandmother of Kristen Loste. Like her husband, Vera's name may be a pun, as it sounds like "Very Lost" or "We are Lost".

According to her SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was black before it turned grey. Vera's age data indicates that, when she died, she had 18 days left before dying from old age.
