The names of all the Sims in Veronaville are based on characters from the plays of William Shakespeare, including ''Romeo and Juliet'', ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'', and ''The Taming of the Shrew''. The neighbourhood itself is also full of Shakespeare references, such as "Straford Street," "Stratford Strip," and "Avon Lane." |

Veronaville is one of the three premade neighborhoods in The Sims 2 base game. The names of all the Sims in Veronaville are based on characters from the plays of William Shakespeare, including Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and The Taming of the Shrew.
