Anastasia Marsh is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during her lifetime in the city. She was the wife of William Marsh, the mother of Tiffany Burb (néeMarsh), the mother in-law of Brad Burb, the grandmother of John Burb, the grandmother in-law of Jennifer Burb (néePleasant), and the great grandmother of Lucy Burb. Although Anastasia is deceased when the game begins, she appears in the family tree of her grandson John.
Anastasia's daughter Tiffany and her husband moved to Old Town with their family. Eventually their son John moved to Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2, with his wife Jennifer and daughter Lucy. Anastasia did not appear in The Sims, so if she was alive at the time, it can be presumed that she did not leave the city, and live with her daughter's family. Despite this, she is featured in Pleasantview as one of the deceased ancestors. According to Anastasia's SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was brown before it turned grey. According to her age data, she had 18 days left in the elderlife stage when she died.
Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, Anastasia is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE. She is one of the few pre-made deceased ancestors to use one of the broken Maxis face templates in Create a Sim. This said template however is uncertain, as Anastasia has no character data and can't be resurrected in-game.
