Bennie Dean is a member of the Grandpas household. He moved in with Melvin Taft and Henry McGlum in an attempt to get over the recent death of his wife, Lonnie, and his retirement from his career as a firefighter. He is the father of George Dean who lives in the abandoned firehouse.
