Cyd Roseland is a pre-made playable adult Sim from the Roseland family, which is added to the family bin of every neighborhood that is updated with the secret sub-neighborhood Pets from The Sims 2 Pets expansion pack. He owns a dog called Porthos. Cyd decides to settle down with his dog with §20,000 to spend. When he is first moved into a neighborhood, he will be 29 days away from being an elder. Cyd uses the 2nd Maxis face template in Create a Sim except for the mouth and jaw which uses the 16th template.

When he grows into an elder, his face shape, excluding the mouth and jaw, will not change. This is unusual given that most other Sims that use the 2nd face template will have slightly different facial features when they become elders (these changes are more obvious on female elders). This is what the broken face templates (minus the customized facial features) will look like on Sims once they became elders.
