Edmund Flynn (real name Jackson Bishop) is a pre-made Sim who resides in Midnight Hollow. He is the guardian of Maggie, Mitchell, and Cora, whom he lives with. The three of them are rich orphans, and they came to live with their long lost uncle whom they never met. Their uncle, Edmund, would become their guardian. However, Edmund is an imposter whose real name is Jackson Bishop. He received a letter from the Flynn estate lawyer regarding the three kids. As the real Edmund had died in a tragic accident, he took the advantage and became the guardian of the kids to take over their fortune and raise his social standing.

From his personality, Edmund is a mean person, as he has Grumpy, Evil, and Inappropriate traits. He also appears to be cruel to the kids, as they disliked him and because he has the Dislikes Children trait, which makes him an irresponsible guardian. As he's after the kids' fortune, he's unemployed and never considered about commitment.

Edmund has three points in the Writing skill. Outside of his home, he is friends with Joaquin Dorsey, Fausto Vasquez, Sarah Holden, Josie Crane and acquainted with Odessa Winchester, Cornell Evans, and Marina Vasquez. He is unemployed at the start of the game.

Edmund adopted his name from the real uncle of the kids, Edmund Flynn, who is dead and buried in the graveyard. He is a parody of Count Olaf from A Series of Unfortunate Events.
