Ella Carlisle is a pre-made Sim who lives in Hidden Springs. She lives with her stepmother (technically mother) Lonnie Pertridge and her two stepsisters, Astrid and Eunice. She works in the culinary career track at level one, but has no cooking skill points. She is friends with Liam O'Dourke and Astrid.

Ella is based on Cinderella; her name may be a diminutive form of Cinderella. She is a nice and caring Sim who lives with her shrewish and ambitious stepmother, who gives preferential treatment to her not-so-nice daughters and is trying to marry them off to rich heirs. Ella's step-family possess a huge hatred for her, treating her like a live-in maid and exploiting her condition; this is mentioned in the family's bio and can also be seen in the house. Indeed, Astrid and Eunice both have large and luxurious rooms, while Ella has a small, poorly furnished bedroom and bathroom. Ella knows of the royalty of the neighborhood, the Vanderburg family, making her a possible match for the "prince," Sebastian.

Ella's default formal wear looks similar to Cinderella's honeymoon dress from Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True. Essentially, said honeymoon dress is a re-colored pink and white version of Cinderella's blue and/or white ball gown.

Ella shares her surname with Anderson Carlisle, a babysitter from the same world. Whether she is related to him or not is up to the player's imagination.
