Angèle Dorthimer is a member of the 10th generation of the powerful Dortheimer legacy.

Childhood

Angèle and her older sister Adelmire were both born in the marshy town of Twinbrook. They are the daughter of the news anchor Aimé Varoise and the savvy sculptor Audrey Dortheimer. She also lived with her still young grandmother Anne and her great-grandmother Adélaïde, who however passed away early.

She was raised by her grandmother, as Audrey had her really young and she had not enough strength to raise her two daughters alone. Their father was also too busy at work.

Angèle was a smart child who had a lot of charism. She was involved a lot in her school life, being her class' president thrice in a row and entered in some associations. She dreamt of being powerful and even wrote a letter to SimNation president about how she wanted to have the same job than him.

She also loved to watch her mother sculpting and was really proud of her famous parents. She also loved her older sister and the two were always together. They enjoyed a lot to gossip about the many funny events that occurred in town.

One night, the two were frightened when lesser spirits overruned their marshy mansion. Anne called a ghostbuster to get rid of these annoying intruders and Adelmire was really impressed by him. At that time, Angèle was really scared, but some time later, she would laugh at it.

Teen Years

When Angèle grew into a teen, Audrey finally had gained maturity and began to take care more often of her daughters. She taught them the basics of the sculpting skill and she enjoyed a lot prattling with them. She wasn't in good terms with her husband, however, as the two did not agree with the path they would like to see their daughters follow. Audrey wanted them to fulfill their dreams but Aimé wanted them to follow in HIS footsteps in Journalism. They fought a lot because of this and Angèle hanged out more often to escape her parents' quarrels.

She had a lot of friends around town, including Emerald Greenwood, Thomas Castor, Pansy Prudence, Jenni Jones-Brown's daughter Xavière and Dee Liver. She met a nice guy, Armand Audière, at a party organized by Pansy and it was love at first sight. They quickly went steady together and they spent most of their freetime together.

Her sister Adelmire grew up into a young adult, and she decided to leave Twinbrook to overcome her father's influence an to become a paranormal expert. Angèle was pretty saddened to see her BFF leave and felt a little depressed for a few weeks. Hopefully she still had her friends, boyfriend and family to comfort her.

Anne died during her teenage years, though, and everyone was pretty saddened by this great loss. Angèle was inconsolable and mourned her grandmother several weeks. Time finally eased her pain though.

At Anne's funerals, Angèle met many of her distant family members, and she got along particularly well with Mallorie, from Riverblossom Hills, who was slightly younger despite being from the 9th generation of ther family (Angèle was in the 10h). The two had a lot in common, including their high interests in politics and their love for contact with other Sims. The two decided to meet again.

She travelled a lot with her mother whe the latter exposed her sculptures all around SimNation, and she was particulartly impressed with the apparently peaceful but in truth eventful Pleasantview, with its bridge and it's love traingles. She there stayed with Audrey at her cousins Lisbeth's and Claudette's manor. The colourful house pleased her a lot: despite it's age, it was sunny and the flowery garden clashed with her own marshy, dark and crumbling house in Twinbrook.

Adulthood

Things got tougher when she became a young Adult. She wanted to make herself a naeme in the political world but her father did not see that as a good thing and he forced her in the journalist career track. If one tells that she hated the career, he would be far below the truth. It was boring as hell. All her colleagues were formatted to eulogize a single political (which was absolutely not the one Angèle supported) party and to smear all the others.

She finally got married to Armand and she began to think about going away like her sis' did. She got pregnant with twins and got some holiday. She had to stay in bed for her entire pregnancy and she finally gave birth to her daughters Armande and Armelle Dortheimer.

After that, Angèle finally made up her mind about moving out. Luckily, she got a phone call from Claudette: she and Lisbeth had to move away in a bigger house, and they remembered how much Angèle loved theirs. They offered to swap their houses. Angèle was ecstatic, and she finally quit her infernal job. She however had to announce it to her father.

Not surprisingly, he got really mad at her. They had a huge argument and Aimé threatened to disherit her if she leaves and does not return to her job again. Angèle left saying she did not care and her father followed her in the stairs to pervent her from going away. However, he fell to his death in the staircase and the ambulance arrived to late.

Angèle was horrified to be the cause of her father's death. He was buried in the graveyard behind the mansion, and then Angèle moved away in Pleasantview with her husband, daughters and mother.

She arrived in Pleasantview and immediately joined the DSU party. She began as a city council member, and she ascended in the party thanks to her charisma. She finally was elected as a deputy.

She took care of her daughters marvellously along with Armand and they were really happy together, and the twins were revealed to be really smart. Audrey also loved them and spoiled them a lot. Angèle however was really busy as a deputy and was away from home rather often.

Her first mandate was however rather eventless. And when representative elections were held again, she decided to resit. She led a large campaign in Pleasantview and she was reelected. And this time, she was glad to see that Mallorie has been elected too in Riverblossom Hills.

The second mandate was much more turbulent, as Mallorie had some ideas that she was firmly decided to materialize, mostly about hardening the sentences again the vilest criminals. Angèle supported Mallorie despite the parliament reluctance and they achieved their goals.

Angèle also bought some stocks on the financial market and she gained a lot of moolah thanks to this. Some rumors stated that she connived in some shady businesses but nothing has ever benn proved.

After her second mandate, Angèle decided not to resit for a third mandate, instead she sought a seat in the Senate, and got it.

When at home, she enjoyed painting a lot and got some extra cash by selling her pictures to random art lovers. She also took great care of her garden and joined the garden club members. After some extra work in her orchard, she finally won the wishing well.

After some years, Angèle received a phone call from an old parliament colleague who informed her about a tragic event: Mallorie, who had been elected as the mayor of Bridgeport, had been shot dead in front of the town hall. She was horrified and went to her funerals in Riverblossom Hills, grieving the loss of one of her best friends.

As if it was not enough, Angèle also learnt that her sister had been killed by a humongous carnivorous plant named the "Kalle Demos" that somehow arrived in her house. Apparently, the plant was not natural and seemed to be the result of some highly illegal experiments. Once again stricken with grief, she assisted at Adelmire's funerals with all the other family members. Everyone really was saddened, but she noticed that one of them, Barberine, feeled more scared than distraught. Angèle just thought is was because Barberine, who was a botanist, never learnt about the Kalle Demos and therefore, she was nicely placed to know that such a big carnivorous plant never existed.

But despite all these greives, life continues and Angèle returned to Senate soon after to fullfill her electoral duties. Still awestruck by Adelmire's demise, she there mentioned several times illegal experiments on any life-form. She has some great relationships with her former Assembly colleagues and helped them to prepare a huge law project that aimed at hardening legislations about illegal experiments.

As time passed, her daughters became more mature and Armelle left the house for Lucky Palms, as she was a notorious and skilled Poker and Black-Jack player. Armande had a job at a local restaurant that fullfilled her entirely.

Soon after her husband's natural death, a big political crisis occurred. Everything started when a newspaper revealed that the actual DSU Prime Minister André Marcangéli had a hidden bank account in a tax haven with millions of Simoleons stashed there. He was indicted for tax evasion and he was forced to quit. The FSH president Xavier Laslacien, who could not abide the cohabitation, the DSU being majority everywhere while the president was a member of the FSH, was overjoyed and decided to dissolve both the Assembly and the Senate.

Every DSU parlementarian was really anxious, as the Marcangéli case spread opprobium on the entire party, and therefore, their chances of remaining majority at both Chambers were almost inexistant. Representative elections were held first and the DSU, as expected, underwent a huge snub. Despite all their efforts, the same thing happened after the Senate elections and DSU lost 100 seats on the 200 it had. The DSU therefore switched places with the FSH, becoming an opposition party. Angèle, who was thankfully reelected, was not used to it and she quickly became enemies with FSH senators, that decided to take their revenge on the DSU who ignored blatantly the opposition.

Angèle particularly disliked the Monte Vistan FSH senator Laurence Metallero and the two insulted each other everytime either Angèle or Laurence had a speech.

Still, Angèle was getting rather old and has high blood pressure, and after all these years at the Senate, she finally died on her Senate seat from a heart atteck. She was buried in the Pleasantview graveyard.
