Despite her mother's affair with Archer Sinclair, Ceara's repaired family has lead her to grow up into a feisty, outgoing teenager. She caught the eye of a number of boys at school, but as a young adult she has finally admitted her feelings for her best friend and roommate from birth, Lance.
Ceara was born to Eoghan and Tamsin somewhere unknown in Simland. When she was just a toddler, her parents moved to Sunset Valley together with the Sinclair family, and their son, Lance, with both families moving into 250 Redwood Parkway.
Tamsin proceeded to have an affair with Archer Sinclair, which lead to a series of fights and an long-term frosty atmosphere in the household. After Ceara aged up into a child, Tamsin and Eoghan reconciled and decided to remain together, much to her delight. However Archer and his wife Opal split up, leaving her best friend and roommate from birth Lance with a broken family.
The remnants of the two families decided to stay together as one household, much to the shock of the community and to Ceara, and they moved to 65 Maywood Lane, along with Archer's new girlfriend Kate Pistachio, as she and Lance aged up into teenagers.
