Diane Courtney Shahan is a sim residing in Bluewater Village. She currently works as a manager at Belladonna Cove Groceries. She is best friends with her boss, Allen Swanson. She's married to Kevin Tinsley.

Diane has a pregnancy modifier token which will increase her chances of having twins.

Life Leading Up to The Sims 2[edit | edit source]

Diane was born and grew up in the area surrounding Belladonna Cove and Bluewater Village.

In college she dated Vincent Thomason. She graduated from La Fiesta Tech with a Psychology degree. During her college years, Diane started working at Belladonna Cove Groceries as a way to make extra money. Her boss Allen eventually promoted her to floor supervisor during the summer. However she stepped back down in order to return back to uni.

Adulthood[edit | edit source]

After graduating, Diane returned to Belladonna Cove and got a studio apartment. She had a new love interest, business owner Gilbert Jacquet. Allen also offered Diane a promotion: store manager. Now that she had finished college, she accepted.

Shortly after Diane becoming manager, one of the employees got fed up and quit. Her replacement was a guy named Kevin Tinsley, a recent college grad. Diane was immediately taken with him, although they were both already seeing someone. The two became friendly with each other though.

Diane's love life was put on hold though after Gilbert dumped her; he had falled for someone else and wanted to become more serious with her. She tried to go on a date with a man named Amin who she met at a club. But she decided to take a break from dating all together. As she had more free time, her and Kevin formed a genuine friendship outside of work. She began hanging out with him and his friend Logan. And it wasn't long before Logan noticed Diane's not so subtle crush on Kevin. Eventually Kevin asked her to dinner, and the two soon became a couple.

After less than a year, Diane moved in with Kevin and Logan. The two later got engaged, after Logan's girlfriend Sadie moved in with the three as well. Diane and Kevin later married at city hall, with Logan and Sadie as witnesses.

Shortly after getting married, career opportunities presented themselves to the newlywed couple, with Kevin landing a position as executive and Diane as senior manager. And Diane quickly continued to climb the ranks at the small company, stepping up to replace its former CEO.

Another surprise came to the couple after Kevin had a chance encounter with aliens. He started experiencing symptoms very similar to pregnancy, although neither could believe it at first. He later gave birth to twin sons, Kalvin and Kaleb.
