Dina Caliente (previously Bachelor) is a well known resident in my player stories in The Sims 2 in Pleasantview. She is the daughter of the late Flamenco and Nighat Caliente, the younger twin sister of Nina Caliente, the mother of Dylan Goth, the widow of the late Michael Bachelor, the ex-girlfriend of Mortimer Goth and Don Lothario and the wife of Alexander Goth. Dina is voiced by Gerri Lawlor and is 28 days from being an Elder.

When Dina and Nina first moved into Pleasantview, it was clear to the player that they were attempting to lay their hands on Mortimer Goth's fortune. Dina has long since moved on from her mooching days since the return of Bella Goth to earning money and gaining promotions. The sisters are considerably wealthier than they were at the start of the game and they now have jobs. Dina has become employed in the Law Enforcement career starting as a Patrol Officer. Tellingly it would probably make more sense if the two traded careers.

In my game it was ultimately revealed that Dina and Nina were not responsible for the Abduction of Mortimer's wife Bella. Dina has made many new friends since the start of the game including her sister, Alexander Goth and Brandi Broke.

Dina's romantic relationship with the has-been Casanova Don Lothario ended when Nina caught the two of them cheating. Dina's relationship with her sister did not suffer but both of them are no longer romantically involved with Don. Dina has good relationships with my CAS Sims Bunny and Jestyn Leishman. Despite Jestyn usually being attracted to blonde females, he and Dina have a low chemistry - due to their Zodiac signs. Dina is a Libra, and Jestyn a Scorpio.

When Bella Goth returned, I decided to write out Dina's romance with Mortimer so that Mortimer could reunite with his long lost wife. This left their son Alexander to replace Mortimer as Dina's love interest, even though Alexander is still a teenager. I got them married with SimPE. It remains clear that Mortimer and Dina were once in a relationship as they have had a child together - Dylan Goth.

The lipstick Dina wears in my game is darker and less noticeable than the lipstick she started off with. Because of her Romance Aspiration tendencies in various Sims games, I will give her the Romance secondary aspiration once I have installed the rest of my Expansion Packs.
