Jeremy Bennett was a witch and a businessman who resided in Moonlight Falls during his lifetime. He married another witch, Alexandra Hallaway of the Clarkton Line of Witches. With her he fathered 3 daughters.
He met Alexandra while they were at a café before going to work. Jeremy spilled the coffee on Alex. He offered to pay for the laundry, while offering a napkin with his number on it. The two then went out on dates, before getting married
After marrying Alex, he fathered her three daughters, Abigail Hallaway, April Hallaway, and the youngest, Ava Hallaway. Before the birth of his third daughter, Alex and Jeremy agreed to keep the girls from magic as much as possible, for their safety, and to give them a life as normal as possible.
After being promoted to CEO, Jeremy became so obsessed with his work that he forgot to spend time with his daughters and his wife. Alex became so frustrated that they had a major fight. Choosing his career over his wife, he left them and they temporarily split. Ava, his third daughter, was born right after Jeremy split from his wife. At one point, Jeremy held a business transaction and cheated. Unknown to him, the person that he had a transaction with was a vampire. 2 years later Jeremy got demoted from his job, and he and Alex reconciled, with Jeremy promising to spend more time with his family.
After a night out with his wife, the couple were driving home when the vampire that Jeremy encountered 2 years ago appeared in front of them. Jeremy asked him to move, then the vampire break out trying to kill him. Jeremy tried to ward him off with spells, but he missed, and the vampire incinerated Jeremy, while throwing his wife on a nearby river, drowning her.
Jeremy never knew about the birth of Arielle, nor did he know that his wife slept with another man during their split, as Alex didn't feel the need to tell him and that Whit was completely gone from her life.
