Kat is the Hallaway family's pet familiar. Kat was originally a kitten who the Hallaway sisters found in front of their porch. The girls took her in and named her "Kat" due to lacking ideas in pet names.
Becoming the Hallaway sisters' feline familiar[edit | edit source]
Kat was a kitten who was abandoned by her mother in the Hallaway's front porch. The Hallaway sisters took her in, although April was reluctant at first due to her being neat and having pets might make messes around the house. In fact, Kat turned out to be a neat kitten, and to everyone's surprise, April was the one who bonded with Kat the most.
Kat had a major part in helping April dealing with the loss of her sister. Kat usually comes up to April's lap and comforts her if April had an emotional breakdown
