Miranda Capp is the eldest daughter of Goneril and Albany Capp. She recently moved out of her parents' house and now lives on her own in central Veronaville.
As the eldest child, Miranda has grown up with high expectations. In her childhood home, she had the best-furnished room, and her parents showered her with of recommendations for excellent school tutors, scholarships, extracurriculars, and part-time jobs. Her tendency to party instead of study irritated Goneril and Albany to no end.
In her teen years, Miranda made a point of falling for boys her parents would disapprove of, and for a while, Mercutio Monty was the ultimate catch in that regard. They even went steady for a couple months, despite Miranda's dislike for commitment. However, when her family's house became a target for the Monty syndicate's hitmen, and Mercutio started talking about how he couldn't really talk about it or make any promises but would never hurt her, she broke up with him on the spot. The fire also convinced her to stop supporting Juliette's relationship with Mercutio's brother, Romeo. Later, she casually dated Fortinbras Dane, but ended the relationship when he suggested that they go steady.
As an adult, Miranda is glad to be out on her own and enjoys being able to throw parties without her parents there to veto any of her more risque ideas. Though she is relieved to be out of her crowded childhood home, she does maintain a good relationship with most of her siblings, especially Desdemona.
Currently, Miranda has largely exhausted her trust fund and is pondering whether she should take her mother's offer of a job at Capp & Ulett Legal or try to make a career on her own.
