World Willow Creek

Violetta Moneygrubb (née Harrison), is an original sim (creation of LexxBlix/AedanStarfang) residing in Willow Creek in the Sims 4. Violetta comes from a well off family from Brindleton Bay, and married Maximus straight out of high school. She is a "stay-at-home mom", and often spends her days cleaning, making meals, writing, and working out when she isn't worrying about her sons (from the family oriented trait) or questioning her husband's fidelity (from the jealousy trait), overall Violetta is more or less a happy sim save for the latter negative trait.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Life Leading up to the Sims 4[edit | edit source]

Violetta did not appear in the Sims 3, as such she and Max did not grow up around each other. Violetta lived in Brindleton Bay with her parents and brother for many years, she went to a prestigious private school and studied equestrianism and archery. During her school years, Violetta was not much of a learner and was easily bored with class and desired instead to be out riding through the vast ocean of wheatfields, she was however a B average student.

Violetta met Maximus Moneygrubb during her senior year of high school and though the two did not live or grow up in the same city, they managed to find their way to each other through a chance meeting at a Masked Ball. The two courted for some time before Maximus, who had already graduated and was attending his freshman year at the Foxbury Institute. The two announced their intention to marry soon after Violetta's graduation, to the latter's parents. The Harrison's were at first concerned with their daughter's decision, believing perhaps it may have been rushed at the behest of her lover, however once getting to know Maximus and seeing the pair's genuine affection for one another they easily gave their blessing. Percival Moneygrubb on the other hand, the would-be father-in-law of Violetta was less than impressed with his purebred son's decision and demanded that the Harrison's sign over 50% of their owned land as a dowry in exchange for his blessing and continued support. Violetta refused and told her parents to ignore the old man's demands, however they already agreed to his terms and signed away the family land to the Moneygrubbs. Infuriated, Violetta banned Percival from ever contacting her or her family, which was fine for him as the old man had already gotten what he wanted. Violetta did however, allow Maximus' Mother to attend. Violetta and Maximus did eventually have their dream wedding in the country, in a closed family-only venue that her aunt kindly loaned to them. Ansel served as Max's best man, while several of Violetta's friends, including Dahlia served as bridesmaids. As a gesture of good faith, Ansel offered the newlywed couple to move into his luxurious mansion, at Midtown Meadows.

Soon after Violetta was pregnant with her and Max's first child, Draven, though unbeknownst to them he would inherit the dreaded 'evil trait' from his grandfather. Max was conflicted about raising and evil child, but figured that a good upbringing and nurturing could undermine his evil nature.

A few years later and Draven was a child, and Violetta was pregnant with their second child, Corvus, who unlike his older brother, would be more akin to their father in terms of behavior and personality. However, unforeseen events would force the couple to separate from their children for a time. Ansel, fraught with rage over his wife, Dahlia's betrayal, exploded in anger and died, becoming a ghost and immediately began terrorizing the family home. The trouble would not be over quite yet, as Ansel, blind with rage scared both Maximus and Violetta to death turning them too into ghosts. Dahlia and her children moved the urns of Violetta and the Moneygrubbs to a private cemetery and moved out of the mansion to get away from the bad feelings of the place. While Violetta and Max's children were looked after at their summer home in Windenburg, the couple toiled away in their afterlife in a quiet and empty grave, shared only with Ansel, who had recently uncovered a magic wishing well buried deep underneath the family mansion. Violetta was already angry at Ansel, who's own uncontrollable rage had caused this predicament in the first place, but became placated when a newly humanized Ansel returned to the grave, and offered for the two of them to make a wish like he did at the well. Figuring they didn't have much to lose, the couple agreed and each made a wish and measly offering of §1 to the well, who was shockingly so moved by the couple's plea that it restored both of them to life, somewhat to the lowkey ire of Ansel - who had wasted somewhere between §20,000 and §50,000 on wishes trying to become human again.

Violetta and Max immediately called for their children in Windenburg and the family was reunited once more in Newcrest. After a week of profuse apologies and mediation from Max, Violetta forgave and allowed Ansel to move them in with him, though in reality the couple was actually helping Ansel as he was nearly bankrupt from the insane spending on the wishing well. Eventually tempers simmered down, and all was peaceful again, Ansel managed to see his eldest children graduate and move in to their old family home at Midtown Meadows (with the aid of roommates), and Dahlia returned to Ansel and the two made up and had their first child together in years. Seeing that the house was quickly overpopulating, Max and Violetta along with their children decided to look elsewhere in Newcrest to lay their roots.
