The Film Studio is a new rabbit hole in The Sims 3: Late Night[1], and it serves as the workplace for Sims in the Film career. It has two branches: Director and Actor, and it is also known that the people that join this career will become celebrities. Sim can tour the Film Studio and WooHoo in it. If your sim reaches a certain level of the career you receive a celebrity trailer. In this you can sleep, relax or WooHoo.
The Plumbob Pictures Backlot is the Film Studio in Bridgeport, outside there is Sci-Fi set on the stage and a some props for films round the side of the building.
