::::::Maybe if the background color was also a shade of light blue instead of white, it would give a feeling of gradient blue like the logo does. And that way might give the difference between the two as well. Just a thought. — [[User:Icemandeaf|Icemandeaf]] ([[User talk:Icemandeaf|talk]]) 17:33, June 25, 2014 (UTC)

What color should the theme for The Sims 4 be? Our Polish neighbors over at pl.sims.wikia have chosen a very nice shade of purple: Can be seen here. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 15:47, June 25, 2014 (UTC)

Discussion

I think that looks very good. I personally like it better than the shade of blue that is being used now because it looks too similar to the current {{Sim2}} template. I don't know if it is similar to others, however. — Icemandeaf (talk) 16:02, June 25, 2014 (UTC)

I'm not crazy about that purple, to be honest. For what it's worth, the reason I set the colors for TS4 to be what they are currently is because those are the colors of the in-game GUI. My idea was to adjust the TS2 colors instead, so that the TS2 colors match the TS2 GUI (which is a darker shade of blue). I hadn't gotten around to that, though. In any event, if we choose to change the TS4 colors, I'd prefer we pick a color which is a little closer to colors used in the game or the game logos. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 16:28, June 25, 2014 (UTC)
The Sims 4 blue seems to be a slightly darker shade than The Sims 2 blue. The difference is noticeable, so we could use that. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 16:42, June 25, 2014 (UTC)
It's actually more like the opposite (speaking about the blue border on the lettering). TS2's is darker. - LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 16:46, June 25, 2014 (UTC)
