Is there going to be another expansion after Romantic Garden Stuff? I'd like to wait for all expansions to be out before I get The Sims 4, so I wanna know if I could get it now or have to wait a bit more. --X29 13:08, May 5, 2016 (UTC)

:::As ridiculous K6ka's comment may seem, it probably isn't too far off. Both Sims 2 and Sims 3 had close to (or exactly) 20 expansion and stuff packs. And Sims 4 has added another type of pack as well, Game Pack. Currently there are 11 of those three "expansions" for the Sims 4. Also, Sims 3 went from 2009 to 2013 with a total of 4 years from original release to final expansion. Sims 4 was only released not even 2 years ago in 2014. So in answer to your question about there being another expansion, Yeah, and there will probably be a total of around 20 before EA is done. -- Icemandeaf (talk) 16:35, May 5, 2016 (UTC)

Is there going to be another expansion after Romantic Garden Stuff? I'd like to wait for all expansions to be out before I get The Sims 4, so I wanna know if I could get it now or have to wait a bit more. --X29 13:08, May 5, 2016 (UTC)

Yeah, probably going to be 20 expansion packs, given the DLC-loving nature of EA. โ€”k6ka ๐Ÿ (Talk ยท Contributions) 14:20, May 5, 2016 (UTC)

As ridiculous K6ka's comment may seem, it probably isn't too far off.

The last expansion pack typically comes out 4-5 years after the base game's original release. My guess would be late 2018 or early 2019. ัฆรผัโ—Žา‘ (talk) 02:56, May 6, 2016 (UTC)

My suggestion would be to spare yourself the heartache of buying The Sims 4, and get The Sims 3 EPs instead. Now that they're a couple years old, they've come down in price. Admittedly, TS3 with too many expansions can still be a little weighted down, but there are mods out there to help with that. Just stay away from the agonizing train wreck that is The Sims 4. - LiR talk โ€ข blog โ€ข contribs 03:08, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
