Hi, Tim here.

I have this idea for a story where SimNation has been taken over by a totalitarian regime. All of the adults, who were kids when the regime came to power, have been brainwashed into supporting the regime fully. However, there is an ever-growing group of youngsters who are becoming enlightened of the regime's atrocities and are instigating revolutionary ideas.

The only problem is, I have trouble bringing this idea to life, and I would love a little help. Would it be possible for anyone to help me create this story arc in tandem?

Seems like an interesting story! I'd like to read it. Will this story be a narrative - told in third-person, or is it a first-person perspective? --k6ka (talk | contribs) 01:17, June 7, 2014 (UTC)

It'll most likely be told from third-person perspective. However, I need help writing it; my details-bank has kind of run dry :/
What kind of detail do you seek? e.g. nature and goal of dictatorship in question (is the dominion over the world the goal itself, or do they have a goal beyond that, something like my Neo-Malthusian "castrate everyone and replace all reproduction with machine wombs" Ecclesiarchy? Is their goal just fame, wealth, and power to be like snooty celebrities?). Or about specific character archetypes to be added to either side? Well, taking over the world just for the sake of it is a little clichéd, so I might expand upon world domination: the Regime seeks to ultimately destroy all traces of humanity and freedom and to eventually make all people subservient to the state itself. The belief is that the state is of paramount importance and that all efforts of the people must be concentrated towards maintaining the power of the state. Does that...make sense?
