All is in the title: In The Sims 3, there is few sims who work as mayor for their neighborhood/world/whatever like Costanzo Rossi at Monte Vista. But is there a sims or lore-sims mentioned as the official mayor of Simcity through the serie ? After all, all neighborhoods/worlds/etc. of the Sims franchise are supposed to be part of Simcity... 77.136.86.4 (talk) 19:59, March 1, 2018 (UTC)

As far as I know there isn't one official mayor of SimCity. There are some sims who are mayor in the MySims games. You can find a list here: http://mysims.wikia.com/wiki/Mayor

In The Sims 2, there is Honest Jackson who is mayor of Strangetown.

In The Sims 3, Patricia Cross is mayor of Lunar Lakes, Ericka Berge is mayor of Aurora Skies and as you said Costanzo Rossi is mayor of Monte Vista. Tobias Goldbeard is mayor of Barnacle Bay after the former mayor, his mother Eleanor Goldbeard, retired. Lorraine Cantina wants to be mayor of Riverview.

In The Sims 4, Mayor Whiskers is mayor of Brindleton Bay.

However, SimCity is just the capital of SimNation. It's just one of the cities there like all the others.

Ok, so you consider the worlds from The Sims 3 as cities and not only neighborhood of a bigger city like Simcity ? Because in The Sims 2, Pleasantview is described as a neighborhood and Sunset Valley is supposed to be the old Pleasantview...What do you think about it ? That's true. In The Sims 2, they did function more as neighborhoods of a larger purported SimCity, per the biographies of Pleasantview and Arbor Falls. However, I also think we can view these places as being apart of SimCity's metropolitan area. If they're apart of SimCity's metro area, then they would still be functioning cities within their right but still have some geographical allegiance to SimCity proper. Seems like a good theory to me ! So in The Sims 2 we can say that the Sims working in Politic, aiming the mayor office, are aiming the Simcity Mayor office, right ?
