Alright, alright, I'll go with my simple theory with some very basic knowledge of Bella Goth. Let us think this in a storyline-wise, not in game-mechanic-wise. For example, even if we can clearly see Bella when Alexander goes off to the university or that there are 2 Michael Bachelors, don't think it that way. Let's pretend they're not supposed to be like that.

So, Bella was living a normal life with her families, alive and deceased, at the Goth Manor. Yeah, you can actually see the timeline according to Mortimer's memories. One day, Don Lothario invited Bella to his condo, and let her stargaze with his telescope, as seen in the Lothario family photo album. Somehow, even though he had the cheap telescope that wouldn't allow abduction (let's overlook that part), Don seemed to be responsible for Bella's disappearance. Bella got abducted the night she stargazed there, but Don kept it secret. The Goths seemed to be aware of her disappearance, and knew that she got abducted by aliens, but didn't know that she was at Don's condo at the time she got abducted. Her children got sad, but Mortimer got intrigued instead.

The night of Bella's disappearance, Dina and Nina Caliente came to the neighborhood. The plot got twisted as they appeared to be alien-hybrids, and were grandchildren of an alien-probed grandfather. Like, could that mean anything to you? Anyway, while Nina was after Don, Dina was after Michael Bachelor's fortune, and after he was dead, she was after Mortimer this time. Now, it was about time for Dina to get engaged with Mortimer at her home.

Now, what happened to Bella? The aliens seemed to did some experiments to her, wiped her memories, and dumped her at Strangetown, which explains why she would never return in Pleasantview ever again. She wandered off not knowing what to do. Since she's only a townie with no backstory in The Sims 2, her story got extended in The Sims 2 for PSP. For some reason, she owned and lived in the Espiritu Estate, a haunted mansion. This seems to take place after the PC version of The Sims 2, since Nervous Subject is already dead. Somehow, she couldn't stand with the ghosts in the mansion, as opposed to her own manor, so she sold it the moment she met the player in The Sims 2 for PSP. After that, she wandered off again, not knowing what to do, becoming a wandering townie once again. She seemed to survive though, I wonder what kept her alive when she had no money?

That concludes my basic theory. Everything seems to be connected with each other. What do you think about it? Is there a loophole in the theory? Do you think it fits perfectly? Or it just simply doesn't make any sense? Discuss! Nikel Talk Vote! 06:25, November 13, 2013 (UTC)

I basically agree about the reason she got abducted, although I have a different story after the abduction. So I think she is on the spaceship with the ailens, the ship crashes, explaining the crashed spaceship in Strangetown, and Bella is the only survivor. She stays there for a while and meets a mad scientist who offers to take her back in time about a few minutes after her abduction, the scientist also has someone wanting to go back to that time as well to restart their life which happens to be Don Lothario. The two go in the time machine together, but it doesn't work, causing it to explode and sent Don back in time to Riverview 50 years ago and Bella somewhere in the future which might be Lunar Lakes if she looked different there. That story could do with some editing but it might be a good theory :) Joey.eyeball (talk) 03:34, November 14, 2013 (UTC)

My theory[edit source]

I have a few theories on what could have happened to Bella.

  1. First of is that Bella was abducted by Aliens in Plesantview who performed experiments on her, altering her appearence slightly (hence why Bella looks so different from the original Bella) and wiping her memory but she somehow managed to escape before serious damage (to her appearance) was done and was hiding out in Strangetown (as said in the Sims 2 PSP), where she made an autobiography of her life following therapy to regain her memories.  However, the aliens who abducted her found her again, this time keeping her well locked up to experiment on causing her to become gravely ill, with hollowed cheekbones and her hair becoming lighter, they then dumped her on the nearest planet, Lunar Lakes where she died.
  1. Or, the aliens who abducted her were so entranced by her beauty they took her back to the coloinzation of Lunar Lakes so they could watch her more easily on the small town where she had no where to run, and she died of Old Age there, the atmosphere affecting her apperance.
  2. Thirdly, aliens find Bella so beautiful and captivating they try cloning her, the Bella we find in Strangetown is actually a clone with slight alterations, but doesn't know she's a clone, hence why she is hiding from aliens, she manages to unlock Bella's memories up the point she was cloned through therapy, creating the notes of the real Bella's life, thinking they are hers.  The real Bella is still with the aliens being tested on until she grows old and sickly from them, and gets dumped on Lunar Lakes either dead, or almost dead.

The notes of her autobiography that she hadn't published should be expected to be found and released as a book in a future Sims game (maybe Sims 4, maybe not, but it wouldn't be noted that she wrote the notes of her memories in Sims 2 if it wasn't going to be revealed later "If nothing happens with it, don't bother mentioning it" is a common rule of story telling), finally putting to rest the mystery that is Bella Goth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by CrystalShrooms (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

I think maybe Bella was dumped in Lunar Lakes quite a long time before the current events, maybe Bella died long ago, and her pale skin, pale hair and corpse-like facial features may be because she had been dead so long. Even if it is cosmetic, it is possible that EA made Bella, and the other dead folks in the Lunar Lakes Graveyard to look like they had been dead for many years. Maybe this was EA's way to show decompostion in dead Sims without having to use graphic measures, such as missing eyes, torn skin and other such things. OoppDecks (talk) 09:46, August 26, 2014 (UTC)

Looks like a corpse to me!

Extracted from Fanon:Bella Goth (Strangetown) (C.Syde)

The infamous Pollination Technician, a Sim pollinator and Mad Scientist decided to play a cruel joke on two residents - noting that there were two Sims in the Sim universe under the name Bella Goth. One in Pleasantview and one in Strangetown.

Pollination abducted the Pleasantview Bella, wiped her memories and used a Death token to force her into hiding. Then he Abducted the Strangetown Bella, wiped her Memories and dressed her up to look like the Pleasantview Bella.

For quite some time, no one in Strangetown realised what had happened, as the Strangetown Bella wasn't a well known resident. Then a rumour spread that the Strangetown Bella had kidnapped the Pleasantview Bella and taken her place - in Strangetown obviously. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:11, August 29, 2014 (UTC)

--- The Bella Goth Theory

Bella Bachelor lived with her family, in Sunset Valley. In school she met Mortimer Goth, a shy yet intriguing young boy. As she got older, she realized she was developing feelings for him, and dated him through high school. The day after high school graduation, he proposed and they got married the following week. They moved to Pleasantview soon afterwards, where she was a Horror Movie Extra, she was always interested in these movies because of her interest in the Paranormal. She quit her job when she got pregnant with her 1st child, Cassandra and 6 years later had Alexander. Once Cassandra got older, she was in-love with and soon to be married with the town’s Casanova, Don Lothario. She didn’t trust him with her daughter and decided to scope out what the deal was with him. She shortly arrived, and to her shock, Don tried to make a move on her by making out with her. She denied it, and politely asked to leave. Don tried to make her stay by showing her his telescope. She, being interested in the Paranormal, decided to take a look. She was spotted by Aliens and abducted. As they readied her to have experiments performed on her, they gave her a drink that would put her into a sleep-like coma and wipe her memories. As she was in her coma, she dreamed about an alternate reality, where she and Mortimer were slightly younger, but in a new town called Willow Creek, with their two children. She suddenly woke up in shock, to find herself on dry sand. She looked up at a sign, to see that she was in a new place called Strangetown. She had no recollection of what had happened or why she was here. As she got a house and settled in, she noticed changes in her appearance and personality. Who had changed this on her? Aliens. As she went through therapy, she regained her memories. She realized she had only two options; Stay in Strangetown and never see her family and friends again or convince Mad Scientist to somehow take her back. She concluded with the second option, and was teleported back to Pleasantview, where she continued her life, never talking about her Alien Abduction. As she grew older, and was almost complete with her life, she knew she had to go back to the aliens, and try to stay awake this time, to see what happens. She looks through the telescope again, getting abducted once more. She drinks the drink, and tries to resist it, but she falls asleep once more. This time, the aliens change her personality again and perform medical experiments on her, which lead her to be sick and have her appearance change this time drastically. Knowing they don’t have a use for her anymore, they dump her on the nearest planer, Lunar Lakes, where she dies of old age and sickness.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Cocowiki123 (talkcontribs) 20:58, December 30, 2014 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

--- The Time-Travel Theory

I read somewhere on this wiki that not all of the Sims 3 worlds are existing at the same exact time as one another, which allows us to narrow down our theories to other possibilities. Expansions packs Into the Future and Ambitions allowed us to travel throughout time. In Seasons, we could visit other planets with Galaxtica Space Car thingy. In the Sims 2, alien UFOs existed even though we couldn't pilot them. What I'm getting is what if time-travel existed in the Sims 2? She could have left of her own free will. This would explain her showing up in the future world (from the perspective of The Sims 3) Lunar Lakes in a graveyard, along with many different easter eggs in the Sims 3 which referenced her as the Empress.

Aliens Had Access to Time Travel, So Bella Goth was Abducted, Hurled Back in Time to Lunar Lakes, And the Aliens (Maybe Pollination Technician —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.179.81.6 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

I think that because Bella turned down Don Lothario's make-out session, he hit her over the head with a shovel, knocking her unconsious. Then he got inspiration, and buried Bella in the ground. Nina and Dina Caliente had arrived the day before...they sure loved making out. First he invited Nina. Soon, he was telling her everything. Dina arrived the next morning, telling Don that she had a plan about Bella - Nina had told Dina everything. But they didn't know something that would completely spoil their plan - Bella had dug her way away. However, the Caliente sisters' alien relatives tracked her down. They abducted her, made a clone of her, dropped the clone in Strangetown and finally, wiped the real Bella's memory and dumped her beside Pleasantview's river. Don found her, outraged that she wasn't put in the ground again, buried her again and stormed off, sending angry messages to Nina and Dina. Bella, like before, crawled away. For hours and hours. Soon the hours turned into days, months, years. But Bella never gave up. Finally, she found a way to crawl up - and crawled up into Lunar Lakes. She was absolutely starving, perished and exhausted, so she passed out. Her skin was yellowing and her cheeks were sharp. Days went past and Bella got weaker and weaker, even though she was grateful for the rest. One day, she died. 2.121.10.115 (talk) 20:12, May 25, 2015 (UTC)
