World Monte Vista

Francisca Pantalone (née Zanni) was the mother of Isabella Monty. Unfortunately for Francisca, she died a while before the beginning of the game. She may have lived outside of Veronaville, as her grave does not exist in the town and she is not resurrectable. She bears a striking resemblance to Frida Goth. Like the deceased parents of many Veronaville sims, she suffered an untimely death as an adult.

She reappears in Monte Vista, where she lives with her husband. Both are Elders before being deceased as Adults in the Sims 2. She works in the Military career at level 5 and has 1 point in Charisma, 3 in Handiness and 4 in Athletism.

Francisca was a nun in Shakespeare's Measure for Measure.

Trivia

  • There is a hidden picture of her which can be found in game files such as SimPE, this one is quite different from her, which shows Francisca as an elder with lighter skin tone. It is unknown why the picture exists, though the same happens with many Veronaville Sims.

Onomatology

"Pantalones", in Spanish, means "Pants". It could be a reference to a character from the Commedia de´ll arte. "Pantalone" is an avariciously old merchant. Her birth last name could name a group of characters in the Commedia de´ll arte: The poor footmen Arl.
