Life leading up to The Sims

Gretle is deceased at the start of the game and most likely buried in Goth family graveyard.

Life leading up to The Sims 2

Gretle's gravestone (and ghost) can be found in the new Goth home along with the rest of the Goth family.

Life leading up to The Sims 3

In The Sims 3, Gretle and her husband, Victor Goth are deceased. They are not buried in the Sunset Valley Cemetery, but in private plots in the Goth Manor garden. Strangely, her daughter, Frida, is not shown in the family tree.
