Gwendolyn Gere (née Wacea) is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during her lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. She was the daughter of Joseph and Kelly Wacea, the wife of Inigo Gere, and the mother of Chastity Gere. Gwendolyn is completely resurrectable, even though she doesn't have a grave. She has the Knowledge aspiration, and the Cancer zodiac sign. As far as personality, Gwendolyn is somewhat neat, active, and nice. But she is quite shy and somewhat serious.

According to Gwendolyn's SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was brown before it turned grey. According to her age data, she had 14 days left in the elder life stage when she died. Gwendolyn uses the 2nd Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except the ears and mouth which use the 4th face template. Also the jaw is longer than on the default face. However the jaw is only longer on teenage, adult and elder females, which may mean that the jaw was genetically passed down, as this oddity generally only occurs on Sims whose facial features were genetically passed down.

Gwendolyn's SimDNA in SimPE shows that her recessive alleles are for black hair and dark blue eyes. Also her dominant skin tone range is for light skin, while her recessive skin tone range is for tanned skin. However Gwendolyn's dominant and recessive alleles are for tanned skin. Strangely, Gwendolyn has memories of her parents getting engaged and married, despite both her parents having memories of doing this before Gwendolyn was born. This was probably an oversight made by the developers.
