Jenny Smith (née Curious) is the daughter of Glarn Curious and Kitty Curious and the older sister of Pascal Curious, Vidcund Curious and Lazlo Curious, the famously alien-obsessed brothers.
She shares some of her brothers' alien affection, as is apparent by her marriage to Pollination Tech#9 Smith, a retired alien pollinator. She and Pollination Tech#9 have two children, a teenage son Johnny Smith and a child daughter Jill Smith. Unlike her brothers, but like her husband, she is a family Sim, although the only toddler skill that she taught was teaching Jill to walk. Pollination Tech#9 taught Johnny to walk, and taught both Jill and Johnny to talk and to use the potty. As a result of her marriage, her half-sisters, Lola Singles and Chloe Singles, have also become her stepdaughters.
She works in the Medicine career track as a Nurse, but usually has a Want to quit, presumably to spend more time with her family. However, her salary is the family's only income, as retired Pollination Technicians do not draw a pension. When the family is first played, she is five days away from becoming an elder. She has a paid vacation day, which she is taking, presumably because it is Johnny's birthday.
Jenny's favorite color is green, as stated in her bio, which might explain her initial attraction to Pollination Tech#9. It also explains why she always wears a green shirt (she wore one even as a child and teen). Also, when planning her everyday clothes in the wardrobe, all of the available tops and outfits are green. Jenny's eye color is also green, though her parents do not have green eyes. This may be because of Jenny's obsession with the color green.
Jenny's secrets in The Sims 2 (PSP):
- (Personal): Jenny loves the smell of Napalm. It reminds her of her dad.
- (Intimate): Jenny says kissing her husband is like eating spinach... it's green and messy.
- (Dark): Jenny's feet are actually flippers, but she paints them to look like real feet.
- (Nocturnal Investigation): Jenny admits to you that her husband leaves every night to search the crashed UFO.
In The Sims 2 (PSP), Sinjin Balani states that Lazlo Curious is his cousin. However, this would make Sinjin Jenny's cousin too, but it is not mentioned that Pascal, Vidcund, Lazlo and Jenny are related.
