A juice keg is an object in The Sims 2: University, The Sims 3: University Life and The Sims 4: Discover University.

The Sims 2: University

The Fruit Punch Barrel resembles a large pineapple filled with fruit punch. Sims can drink from it using a cup, or drink directly from the tap. Idling Sims will often do these things as a result of free will, even if their hunger or fun motives are not particularly low. A Sim who drinks from a cup will not throw the cup away, but will either set it on the floor or crush it against his/her forehead. If the cup is placed on the floor, the maid will not pick it up, and a CleanBot will ignore it.

The Fruit Punch Barrel contains 15 cups of juice. The amount of juice remaining inside the barrel is indicated by the distance the cups on the floor are from the barrel. The cups will be located just to the right of the barrel when the barrel is half-full, and one tile away when the barrel is empty. The option to drink from the tap will not be available when the barrel is empty, which can be used as another indicator. The barrel cannot be refilled; the only way to refill it is to sell the barrel and buy a new one.

Most of the pre-made Greek houses have a Fruit Punch Barrel; the only one that does not is the Tri-Var house at Sim State University.

If Seasons is installed, drinking from the Fruit Punch Barrel may lower a Sim's temperature.

The Sims 4: Discover University

The Sims 4: Discover University has four juice kegs available for purchase and one that can be unlocked by achieving gold rank in a keg party. Each keg's juice induces a different emotion in Sims that drink from it. Pineapple-lime juice makes Sims happy, passion fruit juice makes Sims flirty, blue raspberry juice makes Sims confident and dragonfruit juice makes Sims playful. The flavors can be swapped out in live mode for §120.

When a keg is purchased, Sims will have to add a tap before they can drink from it. This will often fail the first time a Sim does it, leading to an embarrassing moment. After that, though, Sims can fill a cup for themselves, fill a set of four cups, or attempt a keg stand with friends. Sims with the bro trait are more likely to succeed at keg-related activities.
