Katerina Una (née Kozlov) is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during her lifetime in Desiderata Valley, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: FreeTime. She was the daughter of Pavel and Keesa Kozlov, the wife of Alexei Una, the sister of Larisa Aspir (née Kozlov) and the mother of Natasha Una. Through her sister, she is the aunt of Luis Aspir, the great-aunt of Victor Aspir, great-aunt-in-law of Elizabeth Aspir, and the great-great-aunt of Pauline Aspir. Katerina is completely resurrectable, even though she doesn't have a grave. She has the Family aspiration, and the Aries zodiac sign.

As far as personality, Katerina is very outgoing, somewhat active, and a little bit neat. But she is quite serious and grouchy. According to Katerina's SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was black before it turned grey. However her hair is red in the storytelling images which indicates that she dyed her hair red. According to Katerina's age data, she had 16 days left in the elder life stage when she died.

She uses the 14th Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except the nose and mouth which uses the 22nd face template. Also the jaw is customized, being longer than on the default. However the jaw is only longer on teenage, adult, and elder females, which may mean that the jaw was genetically passed down, as this oddity generally only occurs on Sims whose facial features were genetically passed down.

Katerina's SimDNA in SimPE shows that her recessive alleles are for red hair and brown eyes. Also her dominant skin tone range is for medium skin, while her recessive skin tone range is for light skin. However both Katerina's dominant and recessive alleles are for tanned skin. In the Una family album, Katerina is shown with medium skin, while Natasha is shown with light skin, despite having tanned skin and medium skin in the game respectively.

Katerina is the diminutive of Yekaterina, the Russian equivalent of Katharine, meaning 'pure'.
