Lakshmi Byall (a.k.a. Joy Despret) is one of the pre-made downtownies in The Sims 2: Nightlife. She can be made playable by aging her up and marrying her, sending her to college, or asking her to move in. Lakshmi's career is randomized at the start of the game, and she is mainly interested in Money, Politics, Fashion, Crime, Entertainment, and Work. She is a C student in public school. 

Lakshmi's name is randomized when Downtown is generated. The name "Lakshmi Byall" is only referenced in the game files. Like most downtownies in The Sims 2, she has a customized facial structure. Lakshmi's face is mostly a customized version of the 1st Maxis face template in Create a Sim, but the eyebrows are from the 15th face template.
