Lia Hauata is a pre-made Sim who resides in Sulani, the world introduced in The Sims 4: Island Living. She lives with her grandmother, Keala Hoapili.

Lia is a young adult, who works as a writer and is at level 4 (Advice Columnist). She has Renaissance Sim as her aspiration. She has three skill points in guitar and three points in writing.

Lia is the first premade transgender Sim in The Sims series. Her gender is set to female with a masculine body build, however she is able to become pregnant.

Lia and Keala are connected on the family tree. Keala shows up as Lia’s grandmother and vice versa. However, the parent relationship linking Lia and Keala is left blank. Lia also has a different surname than Keala. This may indicate that Keala’s family ties with Lia are spiritual, rather than biological. This is further reinforced by the household bio, which states that Keala took Lia under her wing as a pupil.
