Luthor L. Bigbucks is a console Sim that appears in The Sims 2 for Nintendo DS, The Sims 2 for GBA, and The Urbz: Sims in the City. His name is a possible reference to Lex Luthor from the Superman series.
Biography
Life leading up to The Urbz: Sims in the City
Luthor is the leader of the Richies rep group and is the son of Daddy Bigbucks. During one mission he asks the player to find him a date that is compatible with him who is then revealed to be Misty Waters.
Life leading up to The Sims 2 for GBA
Luthor L. Bigbucks is a resident in Strangetown and has minor roles in a few episodes.
In "It All Begins," he will be hanging outside of the saloon. If the player talks to him, he will ask where a hotel is as he just arrived as well, realize the player is not from Strangetown, then comment on how the city's IQ just "tripled."
During the mission "What Digs Beneath," the player must get plutonium from him, but it will cost the player a 300 Simoleons.
In "There Was This Mummy," Luthor's prized medallion is stolen by Horus Menhoset IX, and the player is tasked in recovering it. He claims it is "very valuable."
In "Triassic Trouble," he And finally in "The Doomed Earth," the player must ask Luthor to flirt with Ara Fusilli in order to coax Tank Grunt out of his barracks. He will refuse at first, not wanting to get on Frankie Fusilli's bad side, but being friendly will change his mind. Instead, Ara asks him to move a bookcase for him, but Frankie still comes in and threatens to kill the player and Luthor.
Despite Daddy Bigbucks being his father, he is unaware of the fact that Strangetown is a television show, thinking he was just in Strangetown for real estate reasons.
Life leading up to The Sims 2 for DS
Luthor is now a common resident of Strangetown in this game. He can be a guest of your hotel and will leave higher tips since he's rich. His secret is that he was kicked out of his father's house for being frugal with his money.
Trivia
- He is only 16 years old despite his mature appearance.
- The name Luthor is probably a take on Alexander Luthor, a character from the DC Superman universe, seeing that both characters have similar characteristics such as baldness, and both being sons of wealthy men.
